BLOOMINGTON MN WATERPROOFING FOR WET BASEMENTS AND FOUNDATIONS
Bloomington Minnesota has a wide range of ground and soil conditions which can contribute to wet basements and the need for basement waterproofing. For over 18 years Great Lakes Waterproofing has been serving Bloomington on all kinds of foundation waterproofing. Bloomington also has a wide range of buildings, from factories to homes to apartment buildings, we've worked on all types, stopping the water outside for Real Waterproofing!

Waterproofing Bloomington MN Apartment Basement Walls
This apartment building in Bloomington MN had a wet foundation during a recent heavy Minnesota Rain. The damage wasn't enough to move the tenant out but needed to be fixed right away.
Great Lakes Waterproofing was able to get out within days to fix the wet apartment with exterior waterproofing, stopping the water!
Great Lakes Waterproofing works with several apartment management companies and owners in Saint Paul, Minneapolis, Bloomington, Richfield, South Saint Paul and the surrounding areas to help with wet apartments and we can usually be on the job site in days, not weeks.
Once the project is done, the area is cleaned and restored back to the way we found it.

Bloomington Drain-Tile System is Not Stopping Water
This Bloomington MN Home had a wet basement and the home owner had a drain-tile system installed a few months ago.
The light concrete area is where new concrete is applied over the drain-tile pipe system that leads to a sump pump. The black plastic strip helps direct water down to the system and the dark areas are water!
Unfortunately the drain tile system stopped working almost immediately, the hollow basement wall blocks most likely have filled with sand and dirt that comes in with the water plugging any drilled channels to the drain tile system.
This is a very common Minnesota problem, about 60% of the homes Great Lakes Waterproofing works on have a drain tile system already installed.

Bloomington Basement Bowed Wall is also Leaking Water
This Bloomington MN Home had a working drain-tile system but outside forces have pushed the wall creating the horizontal crack about 48" above the floor and allowing water to move right through the wall at the crack and missing the sump pump completely.
First, Great Lakes Waterproofing would recommend wall stablization using Fortress Brand Carbon Fiber Strips to stop wall movement.
Then, on the outside, the best basement waterproofing would be to seal the wall using bentonite injections for wet basements.
This Bloomington MN Project would take a few days to complete both the interior wall stablization work and exterior bentonite waterproofing.
